Roselle
Roselle was a significant Etruscan city that was later Romanized, located about 10 kilometers north of Grosseto. It's a well-preserved archaeological site where you can explore both Etruscan and Roman ruins. Roselle was an important Etruscan settlement, part of the Etruscan Dodecapolis, and later became a Roman municipality and then a colony.
The site is well-preserved and offers a glimpse into both Etruscan and Roman life. Visitors can explore city walls, residential areas, public spaces, and various Roman structures. The amphitheater and forum are among the best-preserved remains.
